A hot bath lowers blood sugar

A hot bath lowers blood sugar

Bathing can improve inflammation and lower blood sugar levels, a recent British study suggests. Bathing can release a chemical that fights inflammation IL-6 and has the same effect as physical exercise.
Researchers at Loughborough University in the UK analyzed blood samples taken by overweight men who took part in the test before and after bathing in the 38°c bath, tested the blood sugar and insulin levels of participants after two hours of bathing, and looked for inflammatory markers. Heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature are recorded every 15 minutes during the bath. Participants also took a hot bath more than 10 times at home within two weeks of being tested.
The results showed that bathing could increase the IL-6 of anti-inflammatory chemicals in the blood. The chemical also peaks when it moves. Bathing can trigger the release of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. Men have lower blood sugar and insulin levels during fasting and rest after bathing at home every day.
According to Dr Sven Hopkins, bathing can improve inflammation in men who are sedentary and overweight, boosting glucose metabolism and metabolism.
